Yesterday at Allianz Cloud in Milan, Lombardia, Italy, the main event featured the WBC International Super Middleweight champion Ivan Zucco (17-0, 14 KOs) fighting against the former British champion Germaine “G-Man” Brown (12-2, 3 KOs).
As a result, Ivan defeated Germaine in a ten-round bout. In the first round, Zucco landed a right hook on Brown’s chin, which visibly rocked him, and another right at the end of the round. Although Brown did well enough to win the second round, he almost dropped in the final seconds after taking a left on the chin. Brown used his reach to keep Zucco from advancing at times in the third round, but Zucco's left uppercuts were more powerful when inside.
In the fourth and fifth rounds, Zucco dominated, drawing blood from Brown's mouth and causing obvious swelling over his left eye. Brown struggled to penetrate Zucco's defense in the sixth and seventh rounds, with Zucco doing his best work in close rounds. Brown became more aggressive in the ninth and tenth rounds, but Zucco countered with powerful right hooks, causing more swelling and blood. In the end, Zucco won by unanimous decision.
In the undercard, super welterweight champion Francesco Russo (12-3, 10 KOs) lost his title by being stopped by Christian Mazzon (10-4, 4 KOs), Giovanni Sarchioto (7-0, 6 KOs) easily defeated Houcine Moulahi (4-14-2, 2 KOs) and Maxim Prodan (21-2-1, 16 KOs) stopped southpaw Mirko “Kraken” Marchetti (8-5, 0 KOs).
