Fans, get ready: Eddie Hearn has reserved Wembley Stadium as a potential venue for a summer clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Following last night’s Ring Magazine Awards Gala in London, Joshua made it clear he wants to face Fury, who didn’t attend the event. According to Hearn, all eyes are on the 35-year-old Fury to decide whether he still wants to fight, let alone sign on for one of the biggest British showdowns in years.
Hearn says Joshua is aiming to return to the ring in May or June, but a July date wouldn’t be a deal-breaker.
"Everything I’ve seen from AJ’s social media is very encouraging," Hearn told Sky Sports. Indeed, Joshua, typically reserved about callouts, posted, "Looking for this guy," next to a photo of Fury on social media - an uncharacteristic move he hopes Fury will respond to soon.

Wembley Stadium can hold around 90,000 spectators, an ideal setting for a mega-fight that could sell out in minutes. Yet the ultimate decision rests with Fury, who’s been quiet on his future plans since losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua, meanwhile, is determined to go out with a "bang," telling Ring Magazine he doesn’t have many years left in boxing and wants to make a final, substantial mark.
