In a night filled with pugilistic drama, in the first event, IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards (20-0, 4 KOs) faced off against Andres Campos (15-1, 4 KOs), while across the Atlantic, WBC #8 cruiserweight Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (18-1, 17 KOs) square of with late sub Zamig Atakishiyev (8-2-1, 6 KOs) at the Halifax Forum in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Edwards had a tougher than expected fight, where he had to transition from a brawling style to a more strategic hit-and-move approach after the sixth round. However, Edwards managed to display an extraordinary performance, retaining his title with a unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 117-111.

The undercard of the London event was equally action-packed. Highlighting the undercard, heavyweight prospect Johnny Fisher (9-0, 8 KOs) made short work of Emilio Salas (7-5-1, 3 KOs), stopping him in the first round. Ellie Scotney (7-0, 0 KOs) pulled off a notable victory against IBF female super bantamweight champion Cheneka Johnson (15-2, 6 KOs), and Cheavon Clarke (6-0, 5 KOs) advanced in his professional career, stopping David Jamieson (10-3, 7 KOs) in an eliminator for the British title. Additionally, Nina Hughes (6-0, 2 KOs) successfully defended her WBA female bantamweight title against Katie Healy (6-1, 0 KOs).

Across the Atlantic in Halifax, Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki faced late substitute Zamig Atakishiyev. Rozicki unleashed a relentless attack on Atakishiyev from the second round, culminating in a third-round TKO. This victory further cements Rozicki’s position in the cruiserweight division.

The co-main event of the Halifax event saw super bantamweight Pedro Bernal (12-1-2, 4 KOs) making a statement against Tyson Cave (35-4, 14 KOs). Bernal, leveraging his powerful body shots, brought down Cave in the second round.
