Terri Harper, the WBO lightweight champion from Yorkshire, has become the latest high-profile name to ink a promotional deal with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. Announced Thursday, the move places Harper alongside Chantelle Cameron, Alycia Baumgardner, Savannah Marshall and other recent MVP signings who have benefitted from the outfit’s Netflix-backed exposure.

Harper wasted no time setting an agenda. In her first public comment she wrote, “The next chapter of my career is going to be the best one yet. Big fights only!! Caroline Dubois, let’s go.”

The challenge reignites a simmering rivalry with London’s Caroline Dubois (11-0-1, 5 KOs), the WBC lightweight titleholder. The two unbeaten British champions have traded words for months without formal negotiations ever reaching the finish line. Dubois replied within minutes of Harper’s post, congratulating her but insisting: “It takes two to tango, champ. I want this fight next. I’m speaking to my team every day to ensure it happens. I hope you can keep that energy.”

Dubois is promoted by Boxxer, whereas Harper now operates under MVP’s banner, setting up a potential cross-promotional hurdle. Still, MVP’s expanding women’s roster - and its proven willingness to collaborate - suggests the obstacle may be temporary. With both champions openly calling for the clash, pressure will mount on their respective teams to strike a deal, whether later this year or in early 2026.

For Harper, 27, the MVP partnership promises fresh marketing muscle and a route to headline on future Netflix cards. For Dubois, 24, it offers the marquee opponent she has craved since lifting the WBC belt.
