Ryan Garcia is already in the gym, preparing for what he hopes will be a rematch against Devin Haney. Garcia is confident that a second fight with Haney will settle any lingering questions about who the better fighter is, especially since he believes he already got the better of Haney once. While Haney hasn’t confirmed his next move, Garcia is staying ready, believing that a rematch is inevitable.

Garcia’s eagerness for another showdown stems from the belief that Haney has no other lucrative options. "We’re training every day. We got to be ready so when Devin Haney wants that fade again," Garcia said during an interview with Cool Kicks. Given the lack of big-money fights at 140 or 147 pounds for Haney, Garcia sees himself as the logical opponent. Haney’s style doesn’t match well with the powerhouses at higher weight classes like Terence Crawford or others at 154 pounds, making a fight with Garcia his best bet financially.

Rumors surrounding Haney's future have also taken some surprising turns. Recently, Haney's father, Bill Haney, heaped praise on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, calling him the "face of boxing." While this sparked talk that Haney might shift towards more celebrity-style bouts, Garcia remains focused on getting back in the ring with Haney for a legitimate fight, not one based on YouTube fame.

Garcia’s frustration with Haney also stems from the aftermath of their previous fight. Garcia mentioned that Haney was a pound heavier on fight night and took $1.5 million from him for missing weight, something Garcia feels should silence any complaints. "Once you take the money, shut the f$&@ up," Garcia said.

For now, the boxing world waits to see if Haney and Garcia will meet again, but Garcia's determination is clear - he’s training hard and ready to erase all doubt if they do face off in the ring.
