Terence Crawford has set his sights on a super fight with Canelo Alvarez, expressing absolute confidence that he would emerge victorious if the two were to meet in the ring. Speaking to TMZ Sports, the undefeated 36-year-old boxer made it clear that he wants the bout, even though Canelo himself has been non-committal about the potential clash.

Crawford, who was present for Canelo’s recent victory over Edgar Berlanga, remains undeterred by the Mexican superstar’s lack of enthusiasm for the matchup. When asked about a fight with Crawford, Canelo gave a simple “no comment,” but Crawford is still determined to make it happen.

“I feel as if that’s a legacy fight,” Crawford said in an interview. “I feel as if this is the biggest fight in boxing today.”

Despite acknowledging the size and power advantages that Canelo would bring to the table, Crawford is confident in his ability to overcome the challenge. He pointed out that he has been fighting bigger opponents throughout his career and sees no reason why this would be any different.

”Of course I’ll beat him,” Crawford said. “It ain’t no doubt in my mind that I won’t beat anybody that I step in the ring with.”

While no timeline or location has been set for this hypothetical fight, Crawford is adamant that both he and Canelo should give fans the showdown they want. Whether Alvarez will take up the challenge remains to be seen.
