At Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK, an exciting evening of boxing unfolded, headlined by a clash between two skilled southpaws.
Former WBA Continental Super Bantamweight champion Peter McGrail (9-1, 5 KOs) showcased his superior boxing skills against former British champion Marc “Livewire” Leach (18-4-1, 4 KOs). McGrail’s aggression and precise striking were evident as he outmaneuvered Leach from the opening bell, ending in a decisive victory by unanimous decision: 100-90 twice and 99-91.
In the co-main event, rising star Junaid “Star Boy” Bostan (9-0, 7 KOs) made a statement by stopping Jack “Ginger” Martin (9-2, 4 KOs) in the eighth round. Bostan floored Martin with a sharp left uppercut. The victory not only continued Bostan’s unbeaten streak but also earned him the Commonwealth Silver title.
The card also featured 2020 Olympic silver medalist Beatriz “The Beast” Ferreira (5-0, 3 KOs), who secured a technical decision over Yanina del Lescano (14-4, 4 KOs) in a bout for the vacant IBF World Lightweight title.
