Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn are on course to renew their family rivalry on 15 November, with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London pencilled in to host the rematch. The event, provisionally titled ‘The Ring: Unfinished Business’, will again be financed by Turki Alalshikh and promoted under The Ring banner.

The sequel follows their enthralling first meeting on 26 April, when Eubank Jr. (35-3, 23 KOs) edged Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) via triple 116-112 scorecards at the same venue. That bout, fought at the middleweight limit with a 10-lb fight-day rehydration cap, saw Eubank arrive 0.2 lb heavy and forfeit a $500,000 fine before winning on the night.

Their first contest extended a feud that began with their fathers in the 1990s - Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn fought twice, with Eubank Sr. winning one and the rematch declared a draw. The April showdown reunited Eubank Sr. and Jr., who had disagreed publicly over the fight’s catch-weight terms before embracing in the ring walk.

Initial plans for a September rematch stalled when Eubank, hospitalised after the bout, failed to ink his side of the deal. Talks have since been revived; Matchroom and Benn remained on board throughout, and Riyadh Season backers are now once again involved.

Should contracts be finalised, the rivalry will resume just a week before the Alalshikh-backed ‘Ring IV’ super-card in Riyadh on 22 November.
