According to reports, Eddie Hearn has begun negotiating for an undisputed bout between WBA champion Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 12 KOs) and IBF, WBC, and WBO champion Artur Beterbiev (19-0, 19 KOs) to take place in Abu Dhabi in June 2023.

Hearn is also eager in pitting Bivol against #1 WBA Joshua Buatsi (16-0, 13 KOs), one of the British promoter's Matchroom Boxing stable fighters who he's consistently stated as his preferred opponent for Dmitry. We can expect to see the Bivol against Buatsi battle in April or May given Hearn's keen interest in scheduling it as the next fight.

It is also worth noting that Bivol's ideal opponent would be Beterbiev, but they are unlikely to fight each other. Beterbiev won't be prepared to face Bivol in June because he has Ramadan until April 21.

It's important for Bivol to win his next bout since he's anticipated to face Canelo, who has been dragging his feet ever since Dmitry beat him in May 2022 at his preferred venue, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
