Young lightweight Curmel Moton, guided by Floyd Mayweather and promoted by Swift Promotions, will step into the ring on November 30 against Bryan Mercado in a six-round bout at ACX1 Studios, Atlantic City. Moton, a standout prospect from Salt Lake City, has been making waves since turning pro and now fights out of Las Vegas. At 18, he holds an impressive record of 6-0 (5 KOs) and is on a three-fight knockout streak, having dispatched Hilario Martinez Moreno in the first round of his last bout.

This matchup marks Moton's fifth fight of the year, following an eight-round unanimous decision win over then-undefeated Anthony Cuba in March - his only pro bout to go the distance. With each fight, Moton shows a mix of skill and power well beyond his years, making him a prospect to watch in the lightweight division.

His opponent, Bryan Mercado, is an Ecuadorian southpaw also based in Las Vegas. Mercado, 29, aims to break a two-fight skid after dropping an eight-round decision to Nathan Rodriguez in September. With experience and an unpredictable style, he poses an interesting test for the rising Moton.
