An exhilarating event is set, as undefeated Ellis Zorro (15-0, 6 KOs) vies for the vacant WBO European title against former British champion Hosea Burton (28-3, 12 KOs) in the York Hall, London on BT Sport.

Zorro, who emerged victorious in the Boxxer cruiserweight tournament, made a triumphant return to traditional boxing with a hard-fought points win over Dec Spelman in 2022. Meanwhile, Burton shifted to cruiserweight following his loss to Dan Azeez in a British title challenge in November 2021.
“I think Ellis Zorro going up against Hosea Burton is a terrific fight and one that can catapult Ellis right into the thick of the cruiserweight mix if he is successful,” said promoter Frank Warren. “It is a real 50-50 because Hosea is a rejuvenated force now he has stepped up from light heavyweight.”
In the undercard, Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna (29-10, 19 KOs) returns to London to defend his WBC International title against Willy Hutchinson (15-1, 11 KOs), who aims to secure his first title in this weight class. Hutchinson has showcased impressive stoppage victories since moving back to light heavyweight after an unsuccessful attempt at the British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles in 2021.
Also, Karol Itauma (9-1, 7 KOs), a light heavyweight contender, is eager to return to his winning ways in an eight-round fight following his Wembley defeat to Maderna. Alongside Itauma, Southampton’s Ryan Garner (12-0, 6 KOs) steps back into the ring for a six-round fight. Other promising fighters joining the event include Polish cruiserweight Michal Soczynski (5-0, 2 KOs), welterweight prospects Sean Noakes (4-0, 2 KOs) and George Davey (6-0-1, 1 KO).
