Rising junior welterweight contender Mykquan “Marvelous” Williams (18-0-1, 8 KOs) faces with Clarence Booth (21-5, 13 KOs) in the 10-round main event. In the co- future, top undefeated American heavyweight prospect, Stephan “Big Shot” Shaw (17-0, 13 KOs) taking on Rydell Booker (26-6-1, 13 KOs).
Clarence Booth or how he is also called “Mr. St Pete” debuted as a pro in 2011, but can be characterized as a “late bloomer”—he lost his fight to Alex Saucedo (in 2016) and got stopped by Sergey Lipinets (in 2017). Both of them were challenged for world titles.
The other fighter, Mykquan Williams, is one of the hottest welterweight prospects in the United States. His best-ever performance was against Rickey Edwards in May 2019, because he was able to fight in a different style. “I fought more aggressively, coming forward, and took the fight to my opponent,” Williams told The Ring. “I was a lot more verbal in the ring, too. I normally don’t trash talk. And I also won my second title (the vacant WBC US junior welterweight title).”
