In what is expected to be an exhilarating boxing showdown, undefeated New Yorker Kurt Scoby (11-0, 9 KOs) is set to face his most formidable opponent yet, the seasoned Philadelphia fighter, Hammerin’ Hank Lundy (31-13, 14 KOs), in an eight-round super lightweight clash. Scheduled for June 29, the high-stakes bout will take place at the iconic Sony Hall, where Scoby will aim to extend his six-KO streak. On the other hand, Lundy, who has previously challenged formidable opponents such as Terence Crawford, John Molina Jr., and Viktor Postol, will bring a wealth of experience to the ring.
Tickets for the show are priced at $95, $125, $200, and $ 325 and are available through TicketWeb.
The co-main event of the evening features Brooklyn’s Brian Ceballo (14-1, 7 KOs), a five-time New York Golden Gloves champion and former WBO Inter-Continental welterweight champion, squaring off against Mitch Louis-Charles (7-3-2, 4 KOs) from Quebec, Canada. Both fighters come off strong performances, with Ceballo riding the momentum from his successful Sony Hall debut in April 2023, and Charles capitalizing on his knockout victory earlier in January at Mohegan Sun.
Sony Hall will also host a neighborhood brawl between Terell Bostic (7-1, 1 KO) and Mathew Gonzalez (12-0-1, 8 KOs), both hailing from Long Island. Bostic comes into this bout on a five-fight winning streak, while the “Lefty Gunz” Gonzalez aims to maintain his undefeated record, despite a majority decision draw in his last bout at Madison Square Garden.
Further spicing up the card will be bouts featuring undefeated Arnold Gonzalez (11-0, 6 KOs) against the former New York State super lightweight champion, Issouf “Volcano” Kinda (18-6, 7 KOs), and the Northern Irish fighter Feargal “Fearless” McCrory (14-0, 7 KOs) against Gerffred Ngayot (6-1, 5 KOs) in a six-round lightweight clash. Meanwhile, the four-round super featherweight bout features Raymond “The Scientist” Cuadrado (7-0, 3 KOs) against Yeuri Andujar (5-5-1, 3 KOs). With each bout offering a unique set of dynamics and potential storylines, fans are eagerly looking forward to the event.
