Tom Schwarz (27-1, 19 KOs), the heavyweight boxer from Magdeburg, is gearing up for his first significant bout, where he will face Ukrainian boxer Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko (10-13-1, 7 KOs).
While Dovbyshchenko has only secured ten wins out of his 24 fights, the statistics don’t define his prowess in the ring. Having faced notable heavyweights like Zhan Kossobutskiy, Oleksandr Zakhozhyi, Vladyslav Sirenko, and German favorites Erik Pfeifer and Jose Larduet, the 31-year-old Ukrainian has always stood his ground, never once being knocked down.
In preparation for his comeback, Schwarz has immersed himself in a transformative training regimen. The 29-year-old boxer has collaborated with Fides Sports and has been training at the boxing gym “Orthodox Stance”. Under the guidance of his new Ukrainian coaches, Sergei Fox and Jenia Dimitrov, Schwarz is determined to reclaim his place among boxing’s elite.
Schwarz himself feels invigorated in his new team, stating, “I’m happy to have finally arrived in a new team that appreciates me.” Despite linguistic barriers, the mutual respect between the boxer and his coaches is evident.
