Joseph “Bendito” Macedo (5-0, 3 KOs) is going to meet former featherweight world title challenger Jason Sanchez (14-3, 8 KOs) at the Rio Rancho Events Center, New Mexico, on FITE+.
Previously, Jason Sanchez had a fight against Adam Lopez on February 13, 2021, where he was defeated by a majority vote. Unlike Jason, Andy had won his last bout, which was against Juan Gomez Torres in Tijuana, Mexico.
Some of the top boxing championship prospects will be in the undercard in separate bouts, including undefeated flyweight contender and Olympic bronze medalist Nico Hernandez (9-0, 18 KOs), junior lightweight contender Jose Luis Castillo Jr. (24-3, 18 KOs), welterweight prospect Josh "Pitbull" Torres (24-7-2, 14 KOs), Abel Mendoza, (33-0, 25 KOs), and Jose "Guero" Sanchez (11-3-1, 4 KOs).
