Kevin "The Punisher" Sadjo (23-0, 20 KOs) will put his unbeaten record on the line against Diego Gabriel "La Joya" Chaves (30-10-1, 24 KOs) in a super middleweight showdown in the Bahamas. This matchup pits France’s second-ranked Sadjo against Argentina’s third-ranked Chaves in a clash of styles and experience.
Sadjo, 34, boasts an impressive 87% knockout ratio and has been dominant in recent performances. He claimed the EBU European super middleweight title in March 2024, stopping Giovanni De Carolis in the eighth round. Sadjo also holds the WBO Intercontinental title, which he successfully defended last year with stoppage victories over Sven Elbir and Abraham Gabriel Buonarrigo.
Chaves, 38, is no stranger to high-level competition with over 40 professional bouts under his belt. The Argentinian veteran has delivered 24 knockouts in his career and remains a dangerous opponent despite recent setbacks. Chaves will rely on his experience and toughness to challenge the younger and more powerful Sadjo.
With both fighters stepping into the ring at 76 kg (168 lbs), the stakes are high in this super middleweight contest.
