Fight Details

The “Granite Chin Box Off” tournament is set to be the highlight of the “Rumble at the Rink” event, which aims to support Quincy Youth Hockey. This unique event will feature four rugged and crowd-pleasing super middleweight boxers from New England. Participants include Lynn’s James “Pitbull” Perkins (13-1-1, 9 KOs), Swansea’s Anthony “The Gentle Savage” Andreozzi (5-3, 2 KOs), Dorchester’s Bernard Joseph (7-1-1, 5 KOs), and Barrington’s Ryan Clark (4-5, 2 KOs). These fighters will compete in a blind draw at the weigh-in and face off in three-round bouts. The victors will advance to a five-round main event, where a sudden death sixth round will settle any draws, determining the tournament’s inaugural champion.

In the co-main six-round event, undefeated Irish boxer Thomas “The Kid” O’Toole (9-0, 6 KOs) will challenge Russell Kimber (2-1, 1 KO) of Peabody for the vacant Massachusetts Light Heavyweight Championship. O’Toole, originally from Galway, Ireland and a 2019 Irish National Champion, will meet Kimber, who carries a legacy of fighting in his family as the son and nephew of world kickboxing champions.

Also on the card, United States Boxing Federation (USBF) Middleweight Champion Julien “Black Dragon” Baptiste (6-4, 3 KOs) from Woburn will defend his title against Ricky Ford (5-1-2, 3 KOs) from New Hampshire. This six-round bout could steal the show as the Fight of the Night.

Promising welterweight Joe Bush (2-0, 2 KOs), a recent winner of the 2023 New England Golden Gloves Tournament from Marshfield, is set to take on Tracey Coppedge (0-2, 0 KOs) of North Carolina in a four-round bout expected to deliver relentless action.

Medford’s junior middleweight “Iron” Greg Bono (3-1-1, 2 KOs), known for his robust following including many fellow union Ironworkers, will go head-to-head with Tymar Miles (0-1, 0 KOs) in a four-round match.

Scituate’s Kevin “Big Gulp” Nagle (7-0, 7 KOs), puts his undefeated streak on the line against Brazilian Marcelo “Queixada” Leonardo Da Silva (23-6, 18 KOs) in what is anticipated to be Nagle’s most challenging fight yet.

Lastly, Jonathan de Pina (13-2, 6 KOs) of Dorchester, a 2018 New England Golden Gloves gold medalist, will showcase his talents in a six-round bout against the experienced Tyrone “Hands of Stone” Luckey (16-23-4, 12 KOs).
