Yelshat "The Kazakh Warrior" Nikhemttolla, an unbeaten native of Kazakhstan (17-0-1, 5 KOs), competes for the vacant WBC International Silver bantamweight title against Filipino Renz Rosia (17-9-1, 9 KOs) for the third time.
The 28-year-old Nikhemttola, who was born in China, battled mainly there. His biggest victory came against fellow Filipino Ardin Diale in a unanimous decision
Originally scheduled for December 16, 2022 in Astana, the bout has been postponed due to "unforeseen causes," as the "Kazakh Warrior" himself stated on Instagram Stories. He expressed sadness over the preparatory time and effort as well.
In the co-main event, Rosalinda Rodriguez meets Debora Vanesa Gomez for the WBC International Female title.
