Former unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (17-1, 13 KOs) taking on former European champion Sandor «Arrasandor» Martin (40-2, 13 KOs) for WBO International title in a 10-round super lightweight bout.
Martin replaces Jose Pedraza, who withdrew from the 140-pound bout with a non-COVID illness.
“We wish Pedraza a speedy recovery but look forward to meeting Martin. In general, it was he who was the opponent that we originally wanted,” Teofimo said.
“It was my dream to fight in the main event at the Madison arena. Well, my time has come. I took a chance and on December 10 I will take control in the fight with Lopez and give the fans what they want to see,” he said.
In the co-future , 10-round heavyweight clash between Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (12-0, 12 KOs) and Jerry “Slugger” Forrest (12-0, 12 KOs).
Perhaps the most talented fighter on the undercard is junior middleweight prospect Xander Zayas (14-0, 10 KOs) faces Alexis Salazar (24-4, 9 KOs) in the eight-round showdown.
The main card opens the 23 year-old Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Keyshawn Davis (6-0, 5 KOs) against a three-time world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos (35-6-3, 21 KOs) at lightweight division.
