Fight Details

Boxxer has announced a headline bout at Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre, featuring Natasha Jonas (15-2-1, 9 KOs) and Ivana Habazin (23-5, 7 KOs) in a unification fight for the IBF and WBC welterweight titles.

Jonas, a fan favorite in her hometown, has made an incredible career resurgence. After falling short in high-profile title bouts at 130 and 135 pounds, Jonas jumped to 154, where she collected multiple world titles. Now back at 147, she looks to solidify her place as the top welterweight following a contentious win over Mikaela Mayer earlier this year. “This fight is about proving I’m the number one in the division,” said Jonas. “Habazin is a great champion, and I’m ready for a tough test.”

Habazin, a seasoned competitor with experience against some of the sport’s best, aims to add another belt to her collection. “I respect Natasha, but I’m here to win,” Habazin said. “Fighting in Liverpool is exciting, but I’m not looking for handouts. I’ll prove I’m deserving of this unification.”

The co-main event showcases WBA champion Lauren Price (7-0, 1 KO) defending her title against hard-hitting Colombian Bexcy Mateus (7-0, 6 KOs). Price, who retired Jessica McCaskill earlier this year, is one step closer to an undisputed clash with Jonas. However, Mateus is eager to spoil those plans. Price confidently stated, “I won’t let anything stand in my way of becoming undisputed.”

The undercard will also feature rising talents Stephen McKenna (15-0, 14 KOs), Viddal Riley (11-0, 6 KOs), and Mark Jeffers (18-0, 5 KOs).
