DAZN, a frontrunner in sports entertainment broadcasting, has officially announced its partnership with Naciones Boxing Series and Naciones MMA Inc. This collaboration also brings the renowned Hall of Fame Boxer, Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas, and his promotions company, Vargas Promotions, into the fold. As per the agreement, three live events are scheduled for broadcast on DAZN in 2023, with ten more to follow in 2024.
Commencing immediately, DAZN will globally stream the English-language broadcasts of Naciones Boxing Series. The initial event under this collaboration will be highlighted by an 8-round face-off between promising bantamweight contenders, Esteban “Puas” Ibarra (6-0, 3 KOs) and Jose Angel “Guerrero” Amaro (5-1-1, 2 KOs) at the Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Elated about the expansion of combat sports on DAZN, Naciones Boxing Series/Naciones MMA CEO, Eduardo Vargas, remarked, “We are excited to continue our expansion of combat sports on the DAZN platform.” Appreciating the existing growth of Naciones MMA promotion, he voiced his enthusiasm about teaming up with boxing icon, Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas. Vargas emphasized the platform’s potential to showcase emerging talent not just in Mexico but globally, including regions like the US and Europe.
