Fight Details

Jonathan Guidry (18-1-2, 10 KOs) is set to defend his WBA NABA Gold Heavyweight title against former WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne (25-5-1, 21 KOs) at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Florida.

The card will be streaming live on www.donking.com and www.Itube247.com $19.99 pay-per-view showdown Tickets are priced at $25, $50 and floor ringside are $100. VIP tables will be sold at $2,500

Guidry is coming off a stunning knockout victory over the unbeaten Dacarree Scott, a 33-year-old Louisianan who was pushed hard for 12 rounds by Bryan before being defeated. With his stoppage victory, he became a sort of heavyweight champion. This was an amazing victory for Bryan and even though he lacks extensive ring experience and has not benefited from costly training camps, this time he also wants to take advantage of the attention he will receive at this fight.

As for Stiverne, at his last fight in Florida, on January 29 of 2021, he was defeated by Trevor Bryan in the final match for the WBA Heavyweight Championship. Bryan knocked Stiverne to the ground twice on this Don King event, with the final knockdown occurring at 1:27 of the 11th round, when referee Frank Gentile stopped the fight.

All in all, Stiverne, 44, has lost four of his previous five fights and hasn't prevailed in eight years.

This duel appears to be rather uninteresting on paper. However, occasionally this kind of bout can catch us off guard and provide us with exciting action. If Stiverne shows up prepared to rock and roll, who knows, we might get an interesting heavyweight fight.

In the co-feature, NABA welterweight belholder Tre’Sean Wiggins (14-5-3, 8 KOs) defends against Nigel Fennel (13-1, 8 KOs).

The card will also be presented on FITE TV. Watch
