Boxing Insider Promotions returns to New York City on Thursday night, February 20th, with a live show at Sony Hall in Times Square, streamed on BoxingInsider.com and internationally on DAZN. The main event showcases Tennessee welterweight Avious Griffin (16-0, 15 KOs) taking on Jose Luis "Guerro" Sanchez (14-4, 4 KOs) in a 10-round clash for the vacant WBC USA Welterweight title. Griffin, who’s riding a 9-fight knockout streak, has halted all but one of his opponents thus far.
Local talent from the Big Apple will also be on display. “Gentleman” George Arias (18-1-1, 7 KOs), a Dominican Republic-born heavyweight, joins three Brooklyn lightweight prospects in separate four-round bouts: Koby Khalil Williams (4-0, 3 KOs), Jason Castanon (1-1, 1 KO), and Elijah Gonzalez (1-0, 1 KO). Each hopes to shine under the bright lights of Times Square and keep building momentum in their young careers.
