European super-featherweight champion Ryan “The Piranha” Garner will put his newly won belt on the line against all-action British titlist Reece Bellotti at the Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday, 26 July. Promoter Frank Warren promises “a cracker that will deliver in a big way,” confident the matchup will repeat March’s sell-out atmosphere at the same seaside venue.
Garner dazzled local fans two months ago when he dominated Spain’s Salvador Jimenez to become Southampton’s first European champion in 25 years. Now the slick south-coast technician is eyeing a world-title push and dreams of headlining St Mary’s Stadium, but Warren insists Bellotti is exactly the step-up test needed before global ambitions can be realised.

Bellotti brings danger in both fists and momentum to match. The Watford puncher has rattled off six straight victories since his 2022 stoppage loss to Raymond Ford, upsetting a string of previously unbeaten prospects, including Aqib Fiaz and Liam Dillon. The former ABA champion believes his engine and experience will break Garner’s slick rhythm.
