Johnny “The Romford Bull“ Fisher (11-0, 10 KOs) faces Alen Babic (12-1, 11 KOs) on July 6th at the Copperbox Arena in London, headlining a DAZN NextGen show.

Fisher, a former rugby player, has made a significant impact in his boxing career, earning the Young Boxer of the Year award in 2023 and winning the Southern Area title last August. Matchroom aims to capitalize on Fisher’s popularity, positioning him as a headline attraction.

The matchup against Babic aims to elevate Fisher's profile. Babic, a Croatian brawler known for his wild, all-or-nothing fighting style, is well-recognized by British fight fans. Despite being hurt by smaller opponents, Babic brings the potential for a highlight-reel finish. He also has notable wins, including a second-round knockout of former world title challenger Eric Molina, but suffered a first-round loss to Lukasz Rozanski last April. He rebounded with a sixth-round win over Steve Robinson in March.

Babic, who will be at a weight disadvantage against Fisher, will nonetheless bring his aggressive style to the fight, aiming to make it a thrilling contest.

The co-main event will feature notable Reece Bellotti (18-5, 14 KOs), the current BBBofC British and Commonwealth Boxing Council Super Featherweight champion who is gearing up to defend his title against Levi Giles (15-1, 4 KOs), who is aiming for redemption after falling short in his previous title shot against Michael Gomez Jr. Giles tactical boxing style may pose a challenge against the seasoned Bellotti.

Bellotti is admired for his resilience and comeback abilities, making him a favorite among fans. Despite facing recent losses to Francesco Grandelli, Jordan Gill, and Raymond Ford, Bellotti has staged a successful comeback with four consecutive wins and regional titles under his belt.

In another thrilling showdown, the BBBofC Southern Area cruiserweight title will be up for grabs as undefeated fighters John "The Gentleman" Hedges (9-0, 3 KOs) and Lewis Oakford from Buckinghamshire face off in what promises to be a challenging matchup.

Adding to the variety of the evening, up-and-coming Matchroom sensation Maisey Rose Courtney (6-0, 0 KOs) is set to vie for her inaugural title, the WBA International Flyweight title. Courtney will square off against Yorkshire-based boxer Jasmina Zapotoczna (7-1, 0 KOs) in what is sure to be an engaging bout. Courtney's impressive performance at the start of her career has garnered significant interest and she aims to further establish herself in the women's flyweight division.
