A rising lightweight contender Angel Fierro (21-1-2, 17 KOs), is set to go toe-to-toe with Brayan Zamarripa (13-1, 4 KOs) at the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, Mexico.
Fierro is coming off a noteworthy victory, having knocked out Eduwardo Estela in March of 2023. This marked his sixth consecutive win since a majority decision loss to Alex Martin in early 2020. On the other hand, the southpaw Zamarripa from Ensenada recently secured a majority decision victory over Jose Vega Ochoa in October.
In the undercard, former world featherweight champion Erika Cruz (15-2, 3 KOs) from Mexico City squares off with Melissa Odessa Parker (6-1, 2 KOs) in a 10-round contest. Also, Australian Olympian Skye Nicolson (7-0, 0 KOs) is on the move to Mexico with her sights set on the interim WBC featherweight title, as she’s slated to go toe-to-toe with Sabrina Maribel Perez (18-1-1, 2 KOs).
