London’s iconic York Hall is preparing to witness a night of boxing, as the BOXXER: Breakthrough event is set to feature three headline-grabbing contests broadcast live on Sky Sports.
In the main event, the prodigious Caroline Dubois (7-0, 5 KOs) who, at only 22, is taking her monumental step to challenge for the IBO world lightweight championship against the seasoned Magali Rodriguez (22-6-4, 9 KOs). After expressing her lofty ambitions last year to secure a world title in 2023 and potentially square off against renowned names like Mikaela Mayer and Katie Taylor, Dubois’s moment in the spotlight is keenly anticipated.
In the undercard, a classic North vs. South rivalry is rekindled as London’s Viddal Riley (9-0, 6 KOs) and Liverpool’s Nathan Quarless (12-0, 0 KOs) face off for the vacant English cruiserweight championship. Both young cruiserweights, undefeated and with stellar records, are hungry for the title.
