Philadelphia native Joey Dawejko is eager to prove his mettle in the heavyweight rankings. The 32-year-old, a former Youth Amateur World Champion, boasts victories over fighters such as Ricardo Johnson and John Lennox. Dawejko’s most recent win was a six-round unanimous decision against Terrell Woods on October 7, 2022, in Bensalem, PA. Russell Peltz, Hall of Fame Promoter and current manager of Joey Dawejko, expressed his excitement to see Joey earn his shot at the heavyweight rankings.
His opponent, Colby Madison brings seven years of experience to the ring. The 39-year-old is fresh off a first-round stoppage victory over Darryl Clark on February 18th in Hanover, Maryland.
