IBF European lightweight champion Mark Chamberlain (11-0, 7 KOs) goes up against the Italian Vairo Lenti (10-4-1, 1 KO) at the York Hall in London, live on BT Sport.
Previously, the 24-year-old Chamberlain defeated Marc Vidal in a lopsided 10-round victory at Wembley to win his title, but he was forced to miss a November defense due to a shoulder issue. His opponent, the former Italian champion Vairo Lenti, has won his previous three fights, and last competed in July of 2022.
In the second main event of the evening, heavyweight contender David Adeleye (10-0, 9 KOs) takes on the unbeaten Ukrainian Dmytro Bezus (10-0, 5 KOs).
Adeleye competed only twice last year due to injuries, but he was still able to increase his KO total by two by eliminating Chris Healey and Elvis Garcia. The Ladbroke Grove heavyweight meets another unbeaten boxer Dmytro Bezus of Ukraine, who resides in Liga, Latvia. The 6-foot-6-inch 33-year-old last competed in October of 2022, defeating Lukas Wacker in the fourth round at the Arena Riga.
"This is a great opportunity for Mark Chamberlain and David Adeleye to enjoy top billing at York Hall," said promoter Frank Warren. "I expect both of them to really push on this year and reinforce their status as two of the leading prospects in the country and this will be an important night for them.”
